How to Evolve Song of Mana in Vampire Survivors – Steps

Evolving Song of Mana is quite simple, there are 4 steps in total:

  1. Unlock Song of Mana by surviving for 15 minutes as Poppea Pecorina
    • To unlock Poppea Pecorina: finding and opening the coffin in the Dairy Plant. In the Milky Way Map, the coffin is labelled with a ‘?’ symbol
  2. Get the Song of Mana weapon to Level 8
  3. Get Ebony Wings accessory power-up (passive item): Survive 30 minutes with Lama
    1. To unlock Lama: Survivr 20 minutes with at least 10% Curse active
  4. Collect a rare enemy’s chest that spawns once the counter gets to 10:00 (survive for at least 10 minutes)

Tips to achieve evolution

  • Area affects how wide the column is, making Candelabrador one of the most effective ways to increase its effectiveness
  • Duration is also extremely effective as it maintains the column for a longer time. Combined with reduced Cooldown (Spellbinder and Empty Tome), multiple columns can be active at once

How to Evolve Song of Mana in Vampire Survivors – Levels

Boosts by levels of the Song of Mana:

  • 1st Level: Attacks vertically, passes through enemies
  • 2nd Level: +100% Base Area
  • 3rd Level: +0.8 secondsCooldown but + 0.5 seconds effect duration
  • 4th Level: +25% Base Area & +10 Base Damage
  • 5th Level: +0.8 secondsCooldown but + 0.5 seconds effect duration
  • 6th Level: +25% Base Area & +10 Base Damage
  • 7th Level: +0.8 secondsCooldown but + 0.5 seconds effect duration
  • 8th Level: +25% Base Area & +10 Base Damage

At max Level Song of Mana will have +30 Base damage, +175% base area, +2.4 seconds cooldown and +1.5 Seconds duration

How to Evolve Song of Mana in Vampire Survivors – Mannajja

  • As Area affects how wide the hitbox is, Candelabrador is one of the most effective ways to increase the power of this weapon. Duration is also extremely effective as the hitbox will linger for longer. If the Cooldown is short enough, with both Spellbinder and Empty Tome, multiple mana columns can be active at once.
  • With weapons that have incredible stalling potential like Garlic, King Bible, and Clock Lancet, the slow down debuff can add to the build
